Half Our Deen : Love & Respect

“He ordained Love and  Mercy between you. There truly are signs in this for those who reflect” (Quran 30:21)

We have all read these words on countless marriage announcements.
But how many of us have actualised it❓
How many of us actually embody that love and mercy in our marriages❓
Why is it that our marriages are not filled with peace and tranquillity❓

Research has shown that,
🧔🏽A mans primary need is Respect
AND
🧕🏼A woman’s primary need is Love.

❌The problem begins when:
The wife does not show Respect, as she feels her husband is acting unloving .
The Husband does not show Love, as he feels his wife is disrespectful!

⭕️Its a viscous circle⭕️

✅The only solution to it is:

🧕🏼The wife should show UNCONDITIONAL RESPECT to her husband.
And
🧔🏽The husband should show UNCONDITIONAL LOVE towards the wife.
❌This means that a wife should not say that first her husband must be loving, then she will respect him. This will bring about more unloving behaviour.
Similarly, the husband must not say first his wife must be respectful, then he will love her. This will bring about more disrespectful behaviour.
💕The two must be UNCONDITIONAL! 💕

Prophet MOHAMMED (PBUH) SAID:
To men,
”  THE BEST AMONG YOU ARE THOSE WHO BEHAVE BEST TOWARDS THEIR WIVES” (AL Tirmidhi)

To women,
“When any woman prays her five, fasts her month, guards her body and obeys her husband, it is said to her ‘ Enter paradise from which ever door you wish! “( Al Tirmidhi )

❤️The more respect a woman shows to her husband the more he will love her and
the more love a man show to his wife the more she will respect Him !
